Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society Turns 35!

Join Us For Our 35th Anniversary Season!

  

We open our season MONDAY OCTOBER 6 with the Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ premiere of The Chamber Ensemble, led now by ASMF Director/Leader Tomo Keller, was formed to perform the larger-scale chamber music repertoire with outstanding musicians who have a history of working and collaborating closely together, we are thrilled to have them kick off our 35th season! 

We continue the celebration on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23 with the 2024 GRAMMY winner !  Rescheduled from last season, this extraordinary wind quintet has dazzled audiences for more than 25 years, and is known for its adventurous and diverse programming, which includes both established and newly composed works. The word Imani means "faith" in Swahili. 

The season continues with our Vola Jacobs Memorial Piano concert on SUNDAY MARCH 29, 2026 with the 2022 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition winner pianist who is internationally recognized for his technically impeccable pianism, stupendous virtuosity, clarity of articulation and finest sensitivity! 

We conclude our 35th season on SUNDAY APRIL 19, 2026 with America's premier Brass Ensemble, the , featuring trumpet virtuoso Rodney Marsalis of the famed New Orleans' Marsalis family.  The 8-piece group will dazzle with classical and popular hits including Barber of Seville, A Closer Walk With Thee, and Hummel Concerto excerpts.   

All Members get treated to an exclusive Hausmusik concert and welcome back reception on Sunday, September 7 at 3PM in the Fine Arts Recital Hall. This special concert and reception is for Member's Only and will feature Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ native Soprano in a duo recital with renowned Lutanist JOHN LENTI. Afterwards meet the Artists and enjoy a private reception!
