Engage!
Students at 麻豆果冻传媒 are challenged to engage both inside and outside the classroom. This means to actively immerse in meaningful conversations, research, civic service, and student clubs and organizations. Studies show that students who are engaged do better in their classes and are more marketable to employers.
Make purposeful choices
College鈥攍ike life鈥攊s filled with choices. And choices lead to consequences, whether good or bad. 麻豆果冻传媒 students are encouraged to make purposeful choices like going to class, being collegial, and deciding on a major. No matter the choice, students should be thoughtful, introspective, and reflective in their decision making.
Develop your academic mindset
Success in the classroom is dependent on believing that you can do the work; therefore, positive self-talk and a positive outlook on your academic career will make all the difference. To help students along the way, faculty and staff will offer opportunities to help students develop an academic mindset that will lay the foundation for their success.
Follow your program pathway
Every program has a pathway: meaning a certain timeline of courses, internships and other milestones that lead to graduation. Students are free to select and personalize their academic program, but must keep in mind the requirements that lead to graduation. Following your program pathway ensures timely degree completion鈥攕o students are encouraged to work closely with their academic advisor and faculty to meet program requirements.
