Making a Broader Impact
The mission of the Cyber Institute is to engage in community relations, non-credit granting education and foster technical research efforts under the direction of the Dean School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. The Cyber Institute鈥檚 vision is to attract top students to the School鈥檚 degree programs and top research initiatives to our talented faculty. The Cyber Institute is also engaged in a variety of K-12 cyber education efforts.
The Cyber Institute is also evolving into the School鈥檚 hub for technical research, to include our emerging research effort into election system security in partnership with the Office of the Georgia Secretary of State. The future of the computer and cybersecurity industry depends on each of you and we鈥檙e here to help you achieve your goals.

Cyber Institute Programs
CodeHoppers
The goal of our CodeHoppers Club is to inspire and encourage girls to pursue computing related professions. The Cyber Institute sponsors an after-school club for girls, ages 6th-12th grades.
K-12 Outreach
The Cyber Institute has partnered with Burke, Columbia and Richmond County School Systems to provide the NetLab+ platform to students, exposing them to various information technology disciplines including networking and cybersecurity.
