These events provide a platform for thought leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to share their insights, experiences, and strategies related to various cutting-edge topics. The series aims to inspire and educate attendees by exposing them to diverse perspectives and providing networking opportunities with industry leaders

Inquiry 1000: Introduction to Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The course is the only course on campus in a makerspace. The course introduces students to key concepts in entrepreneurship and innovation early in their academic journey. It equips them with critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, fostering a mindset for proactive problem-solving and continuous learning. This early exposure prepares students to adapt to a rapidly changing economic landscape and enhances their career prospects by instilling practical, innovative approaches to challenges.

Certificate of Leadership

A program designed to equip students with essential leadership skills focused on innovation and entrepreneurship. This certificate program is structured to enhance students' ability to drive change and lead innovative projects effectively within their organizations. It covers a range of topics including the fundamentals of leadership, innovative thinking, entrepreneurial strategies, and practical applications of leadership in business environments.

The Garage Makerspace Workshops

Open to students and the public, The Garage hosts a variety of workshops such as 3D modeling for prototyping, electronics, 3D printing, and wood making. These opportunities focus on hands-on learning and creative problem-solving. Through memberships, consultations, and community events, The Garage cultivates a collaborative environment where makers and entrepreneurs can transform concepts into tangible innovations.

This annual pitch competition is a 5-minute platform for teams to pitch their ideas to address challenges and improve our community.

The Garage Markerspace

Open to students and the public, The Garage hosts a variety of workshops such as 3D modeling for prototyping, electronics, 3D printing, and wood making. Medical Sculpture Lab

Serves as an Âé¶¹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Core Research Lab to provide expertise in medical sculpture, volumetric visualization, and 3D printing. The lab offers educational and research opportunities for students to develop medical models such as surgical simulation and patient education models. The research improves surgical and medical training and provides insight into materials and technology that improve patient care.
